This quick guide gives parents everything they need to get started with Study Buddies. Here, you’ll find instructions to join our GroupMe channel for updates and reminders, an overview of key academic schedule dates, and a highlight of classroom rules to help students succeed.
Key Dates
Classroom Rules
Our rules help create a positive, respectful, and focused learning space. Students are expected to follow simple guidelines that encourage kindness, responsibility, and active participation throughout Study Buddies sessions.
Be Respectful
Use kind words and actions, listen without interrupting, treat others the way you want to be treated, and remember that teasing or bullying is not tolerated.
Safe Hands & Feet
Walk indoors, keep your hands and body to yourself, and respect others’ belongings.
Ask Permission
Always ask before leaving the classroom, using supplies, or going to the restroom (one student at a time with the pass).
Inside Voices
Keep noise levels low; no shouting, yelling, or hollering so everyone can focus and enjoy learning.
Have Fun
Enjoy your time here, connect with others, and remember that mistakes are part of learning. We want you to feel seen, heard, and supported while having a safe and positive experience.
